Stevie Nicks will honor Prince on her upcoming U.S. tour by playing her 1983 song “Stand Back,” she said in an interview with the Associated Press.

Nicks originally wrote the 1983 song as response to Prince’s “Little Red Corvette” after hearing it on the radio. She eventually convinced The Purple One to play keyboards on the recording.

Nicks hasn’t played the song since Prince died in April but said, “I will be singing it for the first time without Prince being on the planet. That is going to be horrible, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to pay homage to my ‘Little Red Corvette’ friend. I’ll sing it forever for him now.”

Nicks’ 24 Karat Gold Tour with The Pretenders begins Oct. 25.
